Civil ceremonies at Ballymagarvey Village
One of the most popular venues in Ireland for any kind of wedding, Ballymagarvey is the perfect location for a civil ceremony.
The ceremonies take place in the beautiful Mill Loft usually and occasionally they are outdoor ceremonies too. In the case of outdoor ceremonies, they usually take place in the little garden near the bridal preparation area.
The loft is a restored corn and flax mill. If you appreciate good stonework you will love Ballymagarvey Village
Ballymagarvey Village civil ceremonies
The outdoor civil ceremonies happen in “Gwenllian’s Garden” by the Barn at Ballymagarvey.
This area is very close to the amazing space they have provided for bridal preparations which means it’s a seamless transition from morning preparations to the ceremony itself.
Wedding photographs at Ballymagarvey
As far as locations for your wedding photographs and the video goes, Ballymagarvey is an open canvas for wedding videographers in Meath.
You can have a stroll around and be back to your guests in 20 minutes with all your bridal portraits done.
If you have had a civil ceremony at Ballymagarvey Village, they usually start at 3 pm and could be over by 3.30 pm.
– Even at wintertime that leaves just about enough time to get some lovely shots of the bride and groom before darkness falls.
We usually suggest to our couples to skip the greeting line in Winter though to save time, and then they can spend more time in with family and friends in the warmth of the Manor House during the wedding reception.
